hello again, old friend

Did you miss me?

I’ve missed me.

I’m missing me. Currently.

It’s weird to write this so carefully when I know that very few, if any, people will see it.

My last post: March 31, 2022.

It was a whirlwind of a year and a half.

Long story short: I fell in love with who is now my boyfriend. We moved in together. I started my third year of teaching. Right before we went to Arizona for spring break of this year, he got an offer to move across the state and we took it. We moved into our new place in August of this year and I started my fourth year of teaching as a 4th Grade Teacher.

Of course, there are countless stories that go along with that, and I’ve written about them, but in the confines of my notebook.

Every time I’ve thought about blogging, I countered myself by asking, “What’s the point?”

So, I didn’t. I stayed away. Didn’t click on my bookmarked page. Pretended I never posted here at all.

I guess this post is my hello again, old friend, I’m finally coming back to share with you more post.

It’s funny, we’re always just one decision away from the things we truly love and the life we’ve always wanted.

If only those decisions were always easy.
